Make 4 Triangles *Working in tan*
*We will be working in rows for the triangles, Ch1 and turn after each row*
R1: Ch2, in second ch from hook: place 3sc
R2: inc, sc, inc (5)
R3: 5sc
R4: inc, 3sc, inc (7)
R5: 7sc
F/O the first 3 triangles leaving a long tail for sewing. *DO NOT F/O last triangle*
For 4th triangle: Repeat R5 one more time, then continue on to step 2.
Step 2: Combining triangles
With the 4th triangle still on your hook:
• Pick up one of the other triangles and place a sc in R5 corner, 6sc across the top.
You should now have 2 triangles attached together.
• Ch 2, pick up one of the triangles and place a sc in R5 corner, 6sc across the top. • • • • Repeat previous step one more time.
Now all your triangles should be attached.
• SI st into the first sc of the 4th triangle, creating a ring.
• You will be sliding this ring onto the body and sewing it at the neck later.
• If you would rather sl st and F/O and sew the triangles together on the body, that works too.
F/O leaving a LONG tail for sewing. (You should have several tails, don’t cut them, you’ll need them later.

Attachment:
1. Attach the Fur Collar by sliding it onto the body. You will want the two areas with the chains to sit where the arms would be, leaving the triangle between the chains to sit center at the front of the chest. Taking the long tail, stitch the collar to the neck using the row where we combined the triangles. Now stitch the triangles down, lightly stuffing them as you sew them to the body.
2. Attach feet placing them between R5-9 counting up from the bottom.
*You may need to adjust foot placement, you want the bottom of the feet to sit flush when your lil’ guy is sitting upright.*
3. Attach arms between R1-4 counting down from the neck. I place my arms at a slight angle.
4. Attach the ears between R5-8, counting down from the top of the head. Sew all the way around the ears, DO NOT stuff.
5. Attach the tail between R7-9 at the back of the body. I place it a little off to the side and at an angle so that the tail peaks out when looking at Steevee from the front. You will also want to place a couple of tack stitches up the tail near the collar of Steevee to hold it in place.
6. *Optional* Cut inner ear detail out of felt and glue onto the ear.
7.*Optional* Either stitch or glue a felt nose at R13 in the center of the face.
